—You know…..that humble black composty mulchy stuff called soil which holds all the organic and chemical components of all life on earth from which we ourselves spring!—–
—and presents a convincing clarion call-to-arms against man’s assault on that netherworld of miraculous brownish black granules by our modern-day economic model of ‘use it/abuse it/lose it’ type of capitalism which always requires that this most basic lodestar of all life be….
scraped away–
leached with caustic chemicals–
blasted, sawn, poisoned and shorn of its fruitage in the greater interests of logging, fossil fuels and GMO agribusiness–
drained of moisture through poor water usage–
transformed from ‘dirt gold’ into desert wasteland–
transformed from leafy forests into clumps of dried kindling–
transformed from tropical jungles into scarred landscapes–
altering the micro-climate rain and water cycles–
depleting the oxygen in our atmosphere and–
ERGO! abnormally heating.up.the.planet!!!
—-All of this placing an unbearable anguish on my soul AND IT ALTOGETHER SOUNDING AN EXCRUCIATINGLY AND EVER-LOUDER AND DEAFENING KLAXONNIC SIREN SCREAM UNTIL MY EARS WERE LITERALLY RINGING AND MY BODY FLASHING WITH THE FEVER OF MY RAGE!!!!!!
And suddenly……………in a surprising ‘Duh!’ moment of clarity and embarrassing naïveté and astounding understanding came the profoundly simple meaning of what Almighty God had warned would be our fate when we chose to walk away from the beautiful potential of His Garden of Eden……PARADISE LOST.
