Things Unbelievers Say
That They Do Not Know They Are Actually Saying…..
When they say: ‘Hallelujah’
They are actually saying: ‘Praise Jehovah’
[‘Hal-lel’…song of praise; Hebrew. Psalms 113 to 118 constitute what is known in Jewish writings as the ‘Egyptian Hallel’, sung at the Temple and in synagogues during the Passover and Pentecost festivals.
‘Jah’…the shortened Latinized form of ‘Yah’ for ‘Jehovah’. (From Insight on the Scriptures, 1988, Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York)]
When they say: ‘Jesus’
They are actually saying: ‘Jehovah is salvation’
[‘Jesus’-the English language rendering translated from the Hebrew names-‘Ye’shu’a’ or ‘Yehoh-shu’a. (Insight on the Scriptures) Per Wikipedia: ‘yesha’ is the Hebrew word for ‘salvation’….in Hebrew, ‘Jesus’ means ‘Yahweh shall save’ or simply ‘saviour’ ‘ Again, ‘Yahweh’ is, in English, ‘Jehovah’.
Most names in the Bible ending in ‘a’ ‘ah’ or ‘jah’ reference ‘Jehovah’—Elijah, Noah, Jonah, Hezekiah, Jeremiah….]
But…to not go on too long….in conclusion:
When they say: ‘Here come those Jehovah’s Witnesses!’
They are actually saying: ‘Here comes that bunch of people who believe that Jehovah is Almighty God!’
And in their saying these things…..
they have identified to 99.9% of the world
Jehovah’s .1% of loyal ones!
